Body Image

Lets be honest, this isn't real life. Some people are very lucky in the way that their bodies look, others put a lot of effort into looking the way that they do, and some go under the knife to change things that they may not like.

Do not compare yourself to others

The Facts

  • 80% of women say that image of women on television and in movies, fashion magazines and advertising makes them feel insecure

  • 42% of girls through third grade want to be slimmer

Don't Starve Yourself!

Being healthy is key. Fad diets can have a number of negative impacts on your health. You are more likely to lose weight by having a healthy, balanced diet.

Live a Healthy Lifestyle

At the route of everything is a healthy lifestyle. Your physical health has an impact on your mental health as well.

Here are some tips to stay healthy!

The Dangers of Surgery

Going under the knife for cosmetic reasons is an unnecessary risk and can cause lifelong problems. No surgery is risk free. Complications can always happen afterwards.

Exercise

The best way to keep fit is to exercise regularly. It is best to aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise per day. If you are interested in building muscle, then push/pull exercises are best for this.
