We are an Ofsted graded GOOD school and are proud to be named as a Trauma Informed school, with all staff specifically trained in these areas. We are an independent SEMH school offering an individualised education to improve life outcomes.
Our team of staff provide highly specialised education provision and support to students who have complex needs. Our school runs across three sites, the Ark in Frome and Newmead Farm in Maiden Bradley & our new Primary School site in Kilmington.
We are passionate about providing excellent, bespoke education and opportunities for our students. Our four pillar goals are CARE – care, adaptability, resilience and empathy; through these we develop our students social, moral, spiritual and cultural skills, and add to this academic achievement, developing our young people so that they can secure, safe and contributing members of society.
As a Trauma informed school everything we do is Trauma Informed. Students thrive and progress in our school, and their attainment, engagement and progress is significantly higher in comparison to previous placements, as recognised by OFSTED. We are extremely proud of our school, our students and our amazing staff.
