Education Support Worker
Full-Time

We are delighted to have the opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible Education Support Worker to join our friendly and dynamic team at the Wessex Lodge School in Frome and Triskele Farm in Maiden Bradley.

You will be required to deliver the highest quality of education, care and preparation for life for all students, both in our School and at our Therapeutic Farm. Furthermore, you must be able to contribute to the whole school’s planning of activities - with an emphasis on delivering the curriculum through the environment. The outdoors is a crucial part of the teaching and learning, so enthusiasm for working on a farm would also be most beneficial.

Having a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds is a must and previous experience of working with students on the Autistic Spectrum, or young people with Special Educational Needs, or Specific Learning Difficulties would be advantageous; having fun through learning is vital for our students and an outside the box mentality is a plus.

We are committed to safer recruitment for all our staff, hence the position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure. We are an Equal Opportunities Employer.

Please download and complete the Application Form, then return it, along with a copy of your CV and a covering letter to recruitment@wessexcollege.co.uk.
